This is the Every Man’s Battle testimony Steve read on the radio today:

After struggling with porn and masturbation for 22 years, and trying to stop for the past 6 years, I have new hope for victory!

In the past, friends, pastors, and accountability partners have all told me to “be reasonable” and not to “be so hard on myself.” Translation: total victory is not expected. . . we all struggle with it and fail. I have rejected that defeatist attitude and stuck to my guns in spite of continual failure. I know I am called to a higher standard, but have felt lost in achieving it.

This weekend was a breath of fresh air! Not only is it possible-it’s attainable! I look forward to pushing on until victory, and then sharing it with my brothers in Christ. – Sam

  1. Please caller #2 stop talking…I don’t know what is more annoying…the fact that she WON’T STOP TALKING AND LISTEN TO THE HOSTS or that she ignores their advice (of course she can’t hear them)….or that she continues to down play the betrayal of her husband. Please listen to what the hosts are trying to tell you!

    • lol, I dont know how many times I catch myself yelling at the radio for people to stop talking and to listen! But I also have to remember when people are hurting, they have all this stuff inside they need to get out before good stuff can be poured it.

  2. WOW . . . maybe OJ did it or maybe he did not. However, he was not found guilty for the crime. It is amazing that we agree with the jurors when it is convenient. The Bible says judge righteous judgment. Is your judgment righteous or self-opinionated?

  3. Wow is right? Sometimes Steve can say the most bone headed things, but what is in our heart does surface. I am convinced that we hear so much about the OJ Nicole crime because it was a black man and a white woman. No other crime is talked about as much. It is obvious to some of us what the source of this is and it is a heart that still hasn’t been washed clean of prejudice. There is nothing that you can say that would ever convince me otherwise. Don’t dishonor this forum by saying such stupid things. Steer clear. I stopped donating because of some of the subtle racist comments I heard on this show. I have learned to eat the fish and discard the bones. Thank God!

  4. okay, now I understand why the comments are like so about Tiffany, she will not shut her chatty mouth to save her soul…poor thing, in such denial until she’s believing everything her husband is telling her. For one, she does not listen and maybe that’s why things are going the way they are in her life or marriage. I pray she gets counseling and support for herself then and only then will she be able to move on in a positive and strong way in life. Something’s got to give and I pray it’s her doing more listening and less talking. Blessings to you Tiffany.
