  1. This is in response to the last question “My faith is shaky….”. In addition to what the counselors already said, it is helpful to realize science does not necessarily contradict faith. In fact, there are many prominent Christians that are doing high-powered research and scientific investigation. Did you know the director of the National Institute of Health, a world-class scientific research organization, is a born-again Christian named Dr. Francis Collins? He has written several books on the same issues of science and faith.
Chris, as you search for the truth, I want to suggest you also read
“The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism” by Tim Keller. This is a well-written and strong argument for faith in God! The book has a chapter on “Has science disproved God?” I pray your faith is strengthened as you take this journey of exploration.

  2. I salute Milan for choosing being a therapist over being a pastor. He is a very gifted teacher and counselor and I learn so much from what he has to say. I also salute the young man who called in who is questioning his faith. It is great to ask yourself the hard questions and embrace your faith as your own rather than how you were raised. I will say a prayer the answers you seek.
