  1. To the lady that is in extreme pain and can’t get off your pain medications… Can I suggest you try acupuncture. It was a total Godsend to me after suffering for almost 20 yrs of being on pain meds… I finally got sick of taking them, being drugged all the time & not getting any better… Within just 3 treatments, my acupuncturist got my nerve pain under control and I didn’t need the pain meds anymore .. I pray you get some relief

  2. As to the caller with what she described as a “Generational curse”, I am glad Milyan corrected the terminology that it is not a sin, but a curse. I’m glad to that she was encouraged to help this pattern of addiction in her family. Let it stop with her. On thing that bothers me is when new life counsellors (all who I think are fantastic) speak about chronic pain and medication without any expertise in that area. Yes it can become an addiction. I have a disabling disease through out my spine and feet, shoulders. Knees, hips, and I can’t sleep without pain medicine and with it ain’t groan all night in my sleep. If I can’t sleep, I can’t work. I am a professional and make an excellent income. So, because I think you all are great, please study chronic pain and suffering and functioning.

I’d like to have some Christian expertise in this area. You all are great and love your work!!

  4. I too suffer from pain in my neck, shoulders and back. I go to my chiropractor every week (over 2 years now) and the pain is no longer in my lower back (truck driving) but in my upper back, mostly neck, from previous injuries. Sometimes I skip a week and go twice a month, but I always go back to weekly because I feel like a new person after ward. I never take aspirin or meds for pain at all. I see my chiropractor. Additionally besides using ICE, and HEAT, there are NATURAL SUPPLEMENTS that lower inflammation everywhere in the body, and Noni Juice is known to actually relieve pain. It tastes awful though. They say the liquid is the only way to take it, since the capsules don’t absorb like the natural stuff and you would end up taking too many to get the effect. Also there is glucosamine for joints pain. It helps to know what kind of pain it is, muscles, tendons, or joints. Lack of Vitamin D can cause pain also, as well as food allergies. Stop the meds. The country’s so called ‘health care’ is killing us with medication, getting people addicted, then robbing you again once you get cancer from all the junk and carcinogens in food. Forget the doctors unless you need lab work, and take charge of your own health.

    • That is great you found relief. My rheumatologist, neurosurgeon, general practitioner, and orthopedic doctors advise me not to have chiropractic because I have a non-inflammatory condition that causes excess calcification that is fusing my bones. I am at serious risk of fracture. Having my shoulder rebuilt soon. It was described as a salvage operation as I may lose my shoulder completely. Not everyone has the same medical diagnosis.
