  1. I am surprised that Christian counselors will recommend medication to a spiritual problem. Is this Satan’s way of getting the entire population on drugs? I can relate to Jason’s call and questions on a deep-rooted level. I also need answers to overpopulation, killing each other, all the hate toward Christians, angry rude out of control people, and cancer killing everyone. Anyone is bound to be depressed, yet the answer is medication? Really? I liked Chris’s answer to pursue support and the Bible, and I guess that’s the answer. But if God loves us so much, why are we searching for glimmer of light? It’s getting worse than finding a needle in a haystack. Honestly it’s easier to find the needle. I certainly understand Jason’s call and wish I had a better answer for both of us. Perhaps the difference is Christians will seek God while unbelievers won’t but it sure would be nice if we got some encouragement since we are seeking.
